About
My Approach
Clarity
Every emotion is designed to move through us, not settle and stay. Yet we have become skilled at avoiding discomfort, distracting ourselves from what feels too hard to face. Through journaling, we learn to recognise and understand what we feel. This work invites us to feel, reflect and see ourselves more clearly.
Balance
Journaling gives us a place to remain more neutral through life’s ups and downs, allowing us to observe what happens to us through a clearer lens. Rather than being carried away by every thought, feeling or experience, we create space between ourselves and what is happening around us. This work gives us the courage to change.
Joy
Journaling invites us to explore a deeper spiritual landscape, one shaped by intuition, awareness and wisdom. By writing down our gratitude and prayers, dreams and aspirations, we consciously turn our attention towards what uplifts us, raising our frequency, expanding our experience of joy. This work deepens and uplifts our experience of life.
“Ayurveda sits at the heart of everything I do.”
All my work is informed by Ayurveda
Ayurveda is concerned with balancing body, mind and spirit.
Journaling supports physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Agni — The Flame of Transformation
Ayurveda teaches that Agni is the flame of transformation. It is the power that digests.
In the body, Agni digests nutrients.
In the mind, Agni digests experience.
Journaling strengthens Agni because writing is a deliberate act of inner digestion.
Each day we take in far more than food. We absorb conversations, disappointments, news, memories, expectations, and emotions. All of it needs to be digested.
When mental Agni is strong, we gain clarity, understanding and perspective. When it is weak, undigested experiences can linger as confusion, upset and mental heaviness, making it harder to process whatever life brings next.
Reasons To Journal
Journaling helps us digest the experiences of daily life. As thoughts become words on the page, we recognise patterns, understand ourselves more deeply, and uncover meaning that might otherwise remain hidden.
As body, mind, and emotions settle, clarity emerges. We begin to trust our inner wisdom, make better decisions, and feel more connected to ourselves as life unfolds.
Ayurveda and the mind
Ayurveda describes three states, or tones, of the mind — dullness, restlessness and clarity.
Journaling helps us recognise these changing states and consciously move through them.
From stuck → stimulated → content.
State of mind / How it feels / What we need
Dullness / Heavy, stuck, withdrawn, foggy, disconnected — Clarity
Restlessness / Busy, reactive, agitated, distracted, overstimulated — Balance
Light / Clear, calm, connected, content —Joy
